This project intends to help marginalized women's in North Albania to be integrated in the society. The project intends to provide for women in need legal assistance and help them to find job, to participate on capacity building training and professional courses. Many marginalized women are not aware about their right and the project intends to protect their rights and give better access to justice. By establishing a women center we intend to provide professional courses and legal assistance.
North Albania is the poorest area and women's suffers more which makes to influence all the family by creating serious social problems. There are about 70.000 marginalised around Shkodra living in villages lacking working perspective facing hard social problems like violence from men, violation of their rights from local government, limited working opportunities, caring about children's without the necessary conditions, limited working opportunities etc. Women are lacking social environment
The projects intends to establish a legal clinic as a social space where marginalized women's meet and share their experiences providing legal assistance for them. This center will improve the social status for 1000 marginalized people by providing to them as well legal aid and better opportunities to improve their social status. Marginalized groups will feel free to express their concerns and cases of violence of human rights which will be legally addressed to local government and to the court
We expect that our project will create a snow-ball effect. The education in law matters for marginalized groups will help them how to address using democratic channels their concerns, The legal center will promote the social status of women offering training opportunities and as well helping them to start and grow their own businesses. We expect that 1000 marginalized people will benefit from the project and they will access justice by enforcing rules of law and protecting their human rights
