The recent escalation of "Israeli" attacks on Lebanon has led thousands of households to forcibly displace from the southern regions Currently, there are thousands of households displaced in shelters and schools with no basic needs in Beirut and the south. Families are without access to essential resources such as clean water, food, blankets, and hygiene products. Without immediate intervention, the humanitarian situation will continue to deteriorate, placing thousands of lives at risk.
Jafra response prioritizes immediate needs, starting with water trucking, recognizing the critical impact of water shortages in crisis situations. Additionally, food items will be distributed to prevent malnutrition and sustain vulnerable populations such as children, the elderly. Also, Jafra will provide non-food items to improve living conditions in overcrowded shelters.
