Burundian Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship plans to train In agribusiness 100 Burundian Young people graduated at high school. The training will give them an opportunity to exploit 4 value chains between other: Maize, Rice, Mushrooms and Garlic. Those 100 Burundian young People will benefit also from training on managerial techniques of companies and training on savings and credit groups will be delivered to them in order to make their agricultural business ideas turned into action.
The project contributes to eradicate the poverty and to raise the revitalization of the agricultural sector by giving to Burundian young people (composed of more than 57% of the population less of 35 years) the agricultural inputs, materials and trainings in business. The project will be done in Burundi exactly in province of Gitega and Karusi. The poverty problem impacts the young community in way that they give themselves to drugs consumption, prostitution, theft and other vile acts.
The following activities will help us to solve the problem: Implementation of the project, training on entreprise managerial techniques, agribusiness training and follow and support for new agricultural entrepreneurs
The project will empower 100 young boys and girls in agribusiness area allowing them to rise out of poverty as well as become more creative, innovative and enterprising in order to create sustainable and decent jobs in agricultural sector.
