The building work at Kisimenyi is now complete and the opening ceremony took place in Mid June with African Promise founder Charles Coldman in attendance.
Kisimenyi houses up to 550 students and the following infrastructure is now complete and in operation:
Classrooms - Twelve (12) classrooms - painted and fitted out (internal doors, glazing,shelving etc).
Library, Nursery school & Staffroom offices - workon these buildings is fully complete
Sanitation - 26 modern sanitation units have been installed strategically around the new schoolcompound
Furniture - All furniture (inc.desks, tables & chairs for classrooms, and bookcases for the library) has been custom-made off site.
