Hello Friends, Partners, and Wellwishers of Support to Children. It has been a while since we last communicated to you. We have been very engaged in the slum communities in Uganda. Since our last update, more than 300 children have accessed primary education and have been supported to stay in school with scholarstic materials, psychosocial support, and health services. We started annual sports fundraisers where we bring our children together with our donor partners and individuals. We held one in February last year, as well as one on 23rd March this year. We thank all the individuals that came out in large numbers to put a smile on the kids faces and to inspire them to stay in in school.
We would also like to thank our volunteers who give freely of their time and talents to help us spread love and empowerement to the children in our program.
Next month on July 16th we will be holding a ground breaking ceremony for a Skills Development School which will help house some of the children in our program as well as act as a resource center for teaching hands-on skills that will empower not only the chilldren but their disadvantaged parents as well. We hope that you will stand with us you have done through the years.
Thank you once again, together we can do more.
