In addition to the previous projects, namely; support to education, the mosquito nets drive, small capital incentives, the gifts drive and the pig project we have expanded and started a number of projects including the child rights advocacy in recognition that most challenges children face result from violation of their rights by the adults taking care of them.
We now target a special group of children and those are the children with disabilities. We realized that children with disabilities particularly in Uganda are so vulnerable to abuse, more likely to live in poverty, few of them go to school and majority are hidden away from the public eye. We have designed special program to address these challenges.
Over all, 250 more children living in Kampala slums have been enrolled in school, we have created partnerships with several primary schools, and the children are happier and full of life.
Thank you always for your support.
