Due to your generous support by way of the Foundation’s 2011 Military Daughter Scholarship Program, we are pleased to report that girls from all over the country will have the opportunity to spend a week at the Julie Foudy Sports Leadership Academy (the "JFSLA") this summer.
With our Academy sessions quickly approaching, we are excited to have girls from Kentucky, Utah, Wisconsin and Connecticut joining us for the first time. As we reported around the New Year, our goal for 2011 is to double the number of military daughters on full scholarship at this summer's JFSLA sessions. As we enter into the last phase of our 2011 fundraising efforts, we are close to achieving this goal and we hope that you will continue to support our effort. We are so fortunate to have a strong team of supporters who believe in our mission and we are more determined than ever to add to this team by expanding our outreach even further. Below is just one example of how your support can make an impact.
This camp has influenced my life by helping me realize that there is nothing stopping me from reaching my dreams but my own doubts, and that if I work hard enough, I can achieve anything.
As always, we are very grateful for your consideration and generosity. This is our last big push before our summer sessions are upon us, so we hope you will visit our website to obtain more information about the Foundation’s 2011 Military Daughter Scholarship Program: www.foudyleadershipfoundation.org.
