Update
The Professionalization Project increase and improve a lot since the beginning.
Last November, Saúde Criança won an important award, Making More Health from Changemakers from Ashoka.
Since the beginning of the project, during the past years now we have offered to students 1730 work tools and 2748 professional training courses, internal and external and we hope to keep increasing the numbers of graduation.
During those years, we had a lot be proud. Last December, we celebrate anew graduation, 45 mothers graduated on the beauty and cooking courses.
We had only one father, Peter, that graduated in the cooking class. He got interest in course while he was waiting for her wife that did the beauty course. Their daughter Paloma, two years old is attend by Saúde Criança and has lactose intolerance.
He gave us a testimony during the graduation,”I always like to cook and now I decided to be a profession on that and maybe in the future open my business on that area. Nowadays I wok as a driver, but I want to make cakes to sell to my friends and neighbors to get some extra cash.”During the graduation he won a mixer.
