The fund collected from the project will be used for building a JVB center in Harrow, London. The JVB center will aim to empower the individuals and the society to actually practice Ahimsa (nonviolence), Sanyam (Moderation), and Anekant (divergent perspectives) through Preksha Meditation. Techniques of Preksha Meditation can be applied by different people in different form for multiple benefits with aim to create self discipline and good mental health for a harmonious society.
We are currently living in a fast paced society with lot of stress around in day to day life. Our fast paced life is constantly trying to achieve one or other objective through different means. In this journey we tend to focus on the means and not the end result. We also feel that this is a global problem across many social walks of life.
JVB London focuses on how to make our mind and body peaceful by practicing Ahimsa (nonviolence), Sanyam (Moderation), and Anekant (divergent perspectives). These practices are adopted through Preksha Meditation techniques and endeavors to create an environment of unity and harmony in society and inculcates individual transformation, which in turn leads to beautiful life journey and peaceful achievement of end results.
The project expect to teach Preksha Mediation techniques to around 300 people a year. These techniques enable the participant to adopt practices of Ahimsa (nonviolence), Sanyam (Moderation), and Anekant (divergent perspectives) in their daily life. The project will cater to different types of people and will support them in achieving different objectives if techniques taught are followed regularly.
