Nike GameChangers Center is near completion!
Yuwa was awarded the $25,000 grant from Nike and Architecture for Humanity in 2011 to build a soccer field and academic center on the ground in India. After months of construction the facility is nearly completed. This complex will serve a number of Yuwa youth for many years to come. Click here to view most recent photos:

Colorado Rush Soccer Invites Yuwa Girl- Pusha to visit and participate in Academy
14 year old Yuwa soccer stand-out has been invited to travel to U.S (Colorado) for 6 months to live and participate in the Colorado Rush’s exclusive soccer academy. She will be attending school, while honing her soccer skills through 1st class soccer instruction. This will be a great experience for her, as she will be staying with a host family while experiencing a new culture! Stay tuned to website for updates! www.yuwa-india.org

Football gives girls of a village near Ranchi a shot at a new life
One of India's largest newspapers "The Indian Express" recently ran a featured article on Yuwa. The highlights include the girls success on the field and how it is contributing to a better education and livelyhood. Also featured is Yuwa's continual push for land dedicated to the program.
