National Disability & Development Forum (NDF) has established NDF Rehabilitation Center for children with Intellectual Disabilities in rural & remote area of Sindh Province, Pakistan. it was brilliant response by our donors during GlobalGiving Campaigns. The NDF Rehab Center caters needs of 200 children with Intellectual Disabilities (Down Syndrome, Autism, Cerebral Palsy (CP), ADHD (Attention Deficit Hyper Disorder), Physical Disabilities & others. Through the funds donated by you & others by GlobalGiving are utilised to meet recurring cost of the Center.
NDF Rehabilitation Center is Ray of Hope for Rural areas of Sindh, where this is only facility available. NDF Rehab Center provides free life therapies i.e Physiotherapy, Speech Therapy, Psychotherapy, Occupational Therapy, independent living, life-long learning (Basic Non-formal education). Of the total, 30% are boarded and 70% at Day Care.
The listed therapies are applied over a long time to bring improvement among children, without sustaining and retaining these therapies, it is impossible to help such needy children. The NDF Rehab Center has no regular proper funding to sustain the services for the long run to meet recurring cost. NDF makes a humble request to all well wishers, our donors to contribute monthly as possible contribution that NDF may sustain the services regularly, to support the on-going services for the children belonging to remote rural areas of Sindh, Pakistan.
