All the children laugh and cry the same, regardless of citizenship. They all want to be happy and live their childhood as it should be. We will organize a summer camp for Ukrainian and Polish kids, to integrate them, provide them with a safe summertime and give their moms confidence that while they are at work, their children spend their time actively and safely. There will be 6 weeks of fun, integration, and new skills for 45 kids in the heart of Masury - a wonderful lake region in Poland.
The war in Ukraine forced millions of people to emigrate. Hundreds of women with children came to Ek to wait until the war is over. Many of them would like to start working to earn money and to be independent of humanitarian aid. They need to ensure that their kids are in the best care and safety. On the other hand, many Polish kids can only dream about active and safe summertime with peers. We can help both groups by organizing an integration summer camp.
We will organize an integration summer camp in Elk for 45 kids. We'll organize 6 weeks full of integration and educational workshops, enabling them to learn new skills and make new friendships. The teachers (Polish&Ukrainian) will organize the thematic meetings devoted to history and tradition, sports games, board games as well as language, and culture puzzles. Kids will have 5 hrs a day full of professional care.
45 Ukrainian and Polish kids will have safe and active summertime full of fun and new experience. Ukrainian kids will start a school year with new friends, they will be more confident in the new country they have to live in. Their moms can take new jobs to earn money and not worry about their children's safety. Children will be more open and tolerant of new cultures and new friendships.
