The Inland Empire Contemporary Ballet, Inc. supports the community by offering Children from low income & broken homes the opportunity to express their selves artistically, and perform in a professional setting. The Inland Empire Youth Dance Scholarship exists solely for the purpose of providing educational and performance opportunities in classical and contemporary ballet to kids from low income homes throughout the Inland Empire, through full scholarships!
Public schools no longer provide Visual and Performing Arts opportunities for children. Kids no longer have a place to go for artistic expression without paying a large amount of money. We are providing the artistic outlet, and after school location where children can learn in a safe, professional, and friendly environment for free. They will train daily with top Dance Educators, and will perform in professional theatrical settings classic & contemporary ballet classics and original works.
We are solving this problem by providing a location for the children throughout the community from low income homes to have a place to learn, grow in the performing arts, and express their selves in a healthy environment. They will be given the same opportunity as children that aren't from impoverished homes, and the opportunity to train under professional Dance Educators from around the world. The children will be encouraged to seek a professional career, and obtain a higher education.
By providing this service, we are producing dancers, choreographers, dance educators for future generations. We provide 75 scholarships, that is 75 children given the opportunity to seek a career in the arts, and attain their higher education in the performing arts! By doing such, they will be successful in their careers, motivate their peers to do the same, and influence other children for generations to follow in their footsteps.
