Summary

Increasing enrollment rate among 379487 girls & girls of excluded groups students studying 1 to 10 grades, decreasing dropout rate & reducing educational barriers in different government girls' schools through innovative promotion of girls' education program, capacity building of teachers on class management, new methods of teaching, creating an enabling reading culture and creating parents since of ownership in 200 girls schools of four districts of Baluchistan province.

Challenge

The out of School children in Pakistan numbers about 25 million and statically Pakistan placed second in the world after Nigeria for out of school children the state continue to remain silent on implementation of article 25-A. According to the report of on the status of the Millennium Development Goals (MDGs) Baluchistan on MDG 2, Achieving Universal Primary Education, targets are also unlikely to be met at the current rate of progress. YAD is going to enroll 379487 girls through this project.

Solution

Conduct 20 enrollment camps, 10000 peoples enlists, facilitate & aware on importance of girls education, distributes free of cost bags, books and stationary to 2000 new enrolled girls, supports girls students, distributes 3000 learning aid materials increase interests of students on learning, conduct creativity on promotion of cultural reading posters, charts, books story and easy competitions 20000 students engages, 3000 prizes distributes, 90 sports festivals conducts, cultural shows, walk.

Long-Term Impact

379487 outgoing school girls enrolled, 80% parents mobilized about enrollment of their children. Created 80% since of ownership of parents, 70% created the students interests through scholarships, prizes, coo curriculum activities, learning aid materials, bags distributions, books distributions, stationary distributions, posters/charts, books story competitions. 50% culture of reading promoted,50% improved reading skill, 60% PTSMCs members active, 70% trained teachers, 70% close schools re open
