Project #6677

Improving livelihood of 200 widows in Mubende

by SORAK Development Agency(SDA)
Feb 1, 2013

Ediths'story of success

Edith was all praises for SORAK Development Agency’s intervention. When our Programme staff visited her later early 2011 among other widows affected by HIV/AIDS little did she know that she would still be alive?

Edith was finally selected to benefit from our improving livelihood project. She preferred to be provided with chicken and hence got 10 of them.

When SORAK Executive Director visited Edith, she had all the joy.She indicated that her health had improved,can now afford eggs as a good diet for her HIV/AIDS affected immune system.She can sell eggs.She has also multplied her chicken increasing from 10 to 60. Edith indicated that she has sold some chicken,especially the old stock and cocks,otherwise they would have been more.

Dear supporters do you see how your few hard earned dollars can mean a lot to the lives of our once suffering HIV/AIDS widows!;your extra 40$ can assist one other widow.

Thank you for your support;
