The communities are located in a large network of rivers, streams, streams and lagoons and lakes, these aquatic bodies can be divided into basins and sub-basins and as they relate to the vegetation of the Amazonian plain, they originate many habitats, micro-habitats and populated centers . The project aims to help improve the conservation of paiche and pacotana, which will influence in improving the quality of life of the population.
The alternative proposes to improve the living conditions of 5 villages of the District of Balsa Puerto, by planting fingerlings of pacotana and paiche, in the province of Alto Amazonas, this will be complemented by a permanent training plan, through personalized technical assistance, courses Theoretical and field schools (ECAs), with the purpose of providing knowledge to the villagers on techniques in fish ponds, fertility and fertilization of ponds, adequate management of aquaculture ponds.
It will provide the supply of pacotana and paiche meat to the population, generating permanent sources of work in both commercialization and food security production, as well as improving the population's economy, thus reducing Extreme Poverty.
