ikusi: Storytelling on Latin American Non Profits

by ikusi

Dear ikusi believers and friends,

We are glad to present the subtitled version of our first ikusi´s video.

You can take a look at it here: http://vimeo.com/ikusi/whotheyaretoday

Also, we are happy to tell you that a generous anonymous donor has agreed to match 100% of new monthly donations from December 1, 2012 through December 31, 2012.

If you make a monthly recurring donation to ikusi you will get your donation matched! (For example, if you set up a new $25 monthly recurring donation, they'll donate an additional $25 to the project)

Also, you can give ikusi´s GIFT CARDS as a present =)
That said, we wish you all the best and, once more, thank you for being part of this project.

Sincerely,
ValeQ

Dear ikusi partners,

I am writing to tell you that, thanks to your support, we were able to create our first official video on ikusi.

The story goes like this: Olga is 40 years old. Gelsa is 71. The two of them live in Casavalle, a neighborhood in Montevideo (Uruguay). They are two of thousands of women who CADI's educational programs have helped to overcome the difficulties of raising a family in a critical socio-economic context. In this production of ikusi (www.ikusi.org), Olga and Gelsa share their experience on CADI (www.centrocadi.org)

The video can be seen on our website (www.ikusi.org) or on our vimeo.

In a few days we will be publishing the story in its subtitled version (in English).

We count on your support to spread this story and to make CADI known.

Thank you for being part of ikusi!

Hello!

I am writing to you because you were one of the generous individuals who helped ikusi® build momentum to take its first big step toward serving non-profit organizations in Uruguay. On behalf of the entire ikusi team, I want to thank youfor believing in us and in this project. Thank you for giving us this opportunity!

For us, you are part of this start-up in which we believe 100% and in which we bet on with all the faith that we have in the stories, the people and the organizations that work with the most critical social problems facing Uruguay.

Thanks to your support, we hope to share many of the stories that take place daily in the background of these NGOs with the rest of the world, and to accentuate the positive change that these organizations seek to generate in society.
If we achieve this, it will be, in large part, thanks to you. We hope that you will continue to believe in our mission and support ikusi’s efforts to make a difference in the lives of thousands of Uruguayans.

During the past month we had been working on our first story. We attach some photos so that you can see part of the "backstage"

You will soon be hearing more news from ikusi. Meanwhile, please follow us on Facebook (ikusi) and Twitter (@_ikusi).

Again, thank you so much for your support!
