Under the ICT Tools & Technologies for Community Schools project, T4DNepal plans to improve learning and teaching levels by using modern teaching methods and emerging ICT tools & technologies for Community Schools of Ruler Darchula Nepal. The overall objectives of this project. Are promoting e-learning mechanisms in Community schools; introducing connectivity through wireless broadband; training teachers in use of ICT; transforming school's education through IT-based education.
ICT Tools & Technologies are still very expensive. Most of the schools don't have basic ICT resources such as computers, computer software, internet and additional hardware resources. Though lots of efforts are made by the government agencies. and the demand for ICT learning has been stupendous and the number of teachers who are trained to teach ICT cannot meet the demand. There are more students willing to be taught computing skills then there are teachers to transfer the skills.
Our ICT Tools & Technologies for Community Schools project focused on equipping schools with adequate hardware, software, and internet (WIFI) connections. Teachers in government schools should be provided with requisite and appropriate skills in ICT so that they will be able to impart the skills to the students.
There is strong evidence that high-quality infrastructure facilitates and better instruction, improves student outcomes, and reduces dropout rates, among other benefits.
