Today, Caritas Macau has been serving the community for over 60 years. The staff and volunteers have been working earnestly under the core spirit of love to care the weak, assist those who need to summon difficulties and rebuild their lives. At present, Caritas Macau service categories already cover the elderly, families, young children, teenagers, the homeless, foreign labors, education, rehabilitation, counseling hotlines, social reintegration, cultural promotion and sponsorship.

To provide services to the most needy and the most abandoned; promptly provide financial aids to victims; promote and assist self-help programs which enable the deprived to become self-supporting and able to make contribution; encourage a spirit of fraternity and cooperation; promote social justice; do research on poverty and suffering and find solutions.

Long-Term Impact

The aim of Caritas Macau is to provide services to the individuals, families, communities and societies; help them to live in a more humane society; encourage them to be self-responsible; enable them to build a community based on truth, justice, fraternity, freedom and peace.
