The target beneficiary 300 children of the farmers and nursery workers in the river bed of Yamuna at Delhi will be provided quality of food to under-privileged children; to ensure that the meal meets the nutritional standards; to tackle child under nutrition, reduce under weight prevalence, prevention of stunting and improve the school performance.
The education program was started with the intent to combat child labour by providing disadvantaged children in urban settings with an opportunity to get education. The children are from the families of agricultural farmers that grow vegetables and work in nurseries of Yamuna bed in Delhi. The school is providing free education, morning snacks, mid day meal apart from syllabus books, school uniform, school bags and stationery to these children.
We provide cooked nutritious meal to 300 under privileged children. In order to improve the child nutrition and improve the school attendance and performance.
It will help in long lasting harmful consequences for cognitive ability, tackle child under nutrition, reduce under weight prevalence and prevent stunting.
