2013 Proteges announced!

We're pleased to announce the participants in the 2013 Protege Project at Chamber Music Northwest:

Andy Akiho - composer, percussion

Ben Beilman - violin

Dover Quartet

Bryan Lee - violin

Joel Link - violin

Milena Pajaro-van de Stadt - viola

Camden Shaw - cello

Yekwon Sunwoo - piano


These rising stars will be performing alongside festival veterans on our main stage and will be featured artists in our Club Concert series in informal, alternative venues around Portland. In addition, they will provide coaching and masterclasses for area music students and will perform in a number of free community outreach concerts for listeners of all ages.  Stay tuned for more details on the Proteges' performance schedule in the coming months!
