From the poverty traps to empowering young women

Our ICSEF students who live in the El Rocio Accommodation Center feel very flattered by the recognition that the University received: Better to know Pro (evaluation carried out by the Colombian state to measure the quality of education at a University) at the national level. As technological institutions, ICSEF was the University that rose the most in the national ranking.

Another good news that allows us to make more of these young women's dreams come true: The loan agreement for the property where the El Rocio accommodation operates maintains its loan status; It is excellent news that the renovation is still in force as long as the owner recognizes the good maintenance we give it. This investment we make in the maintenance of the property is an additional effort, this is part of the expenses that must be met.

Every young person who lives in this house is a young woman who we protect from the poverty traps that a woman who neither studies nor works can fall into. Of every 10 young “ninis” (neither studying nor working) in Colombia, 7 are women.

Our social cause empowers women!!!  and turns them into a woman capable of transforming her family and her environment.

Thank you very much for your support
