The project will consist in making a survey on the problem that blocks the schooling of young girls who have dropped out of school, yet they have reached school age through the implementation of advocacy strategies so that these young mother-daughters who still have small children can return to school. It also provides for reintegration into school for some and vocational training for others.
Girls who are out-of-school and out-of-school have major problems in their families and communities. Most of them are unable to access education / schooling or socio-professional training. Being vulnerable and deprived, their families are unable to meet family and school needs due to low household incomes, polygamy, parental separation and unemployment. Subsequently the parents say that the mother girl is an additional burden to her family because of her child
The project aims to ensure the school reintegration of some young girl mothers and training for the other by granting school kits and the payment of school fees for three years. Those who will receive training in the trade will be provided with a kit to start their income-generating activities to enable them to take charge and educate their children. The parents will be sensitized to take care of their children after the duration of the project.
