In the Zaporozhye region now there is no possibility to carry out high-dose chemotherapy for children with oncohematological diseases. In this connection, children go abroad or wait for the turn to the other clinics, losing precious time. Some do not wait for this turn ... Moreover, technically, the opportunity to carry out "high-dose" at the Zaporozhye regional children's hospital is. The restriction is the lack of control over the medical preparation - methotrexate.
Our foundation has already conducted preparatory work to ensure the necessary laboratory control. It remains to purchase the necessary reagents and children in the region and from the zone of armed conflict will have access to high-dosage chemotherapy that can save their lives.
