I.I.D. provides health, care, rehabilitation, nutrition, accommodation, clean drinking water, aids & appliances, therapeutic services to children and adults with disabilities. Also provides vocational /job related training to the Gypsy communities, females of minorities, outcast portion of society (Tribes/monks/other backward) and other segments (e.g. transgender) normally ignored and are helpless due to extreme poverty or unawareness. Main aim is to merge them into society's mainstream.
This project will support beneficiaries to receive education, training, health, care, nutrition, accommodation, clean drinking water, aids and appliances, vocational/skill based training, adult literacy and counseling, to be engaged on campus, surrounding communities/cities especially SIX Northern States of India. Students enabled to continue their education till graduation resulting in open employment based on their interests & abilities.
The project will help to remove monogamous cycle of poverty, unawareness, illiteracy and unemployment. It will empower persons with disabilities for independent living and work in the community/States. Through this initiative of supporting children, people from economically challenged background will bring out these 10,000 plus disabled persons out of this burden. This will lead to a complete secure and safe environment and will provide assessment and recruitment into various industries.
