We thank you for your support that keeps us serving the youths of Liberia, preparing them to be contributing citizens to Liberia's growth. Your support keeps us strong and progressive.
Since March this year, we partnered with Education Development Center (EDC) to implement a USAID Youth Advance Project in Liberia. Our LCP staff were trained by EDC to become trainers of youth preparing for the employment market or entrepreneurship.
Youth in the program learned job seeking skills and skills to succeed while on the job. The graduation and certification took place in September. Please see attached photos. Fourteen of the learners that graduated are now employed throgh our effort in connecting them to employers. Others have found jobs on their own why a few have started their own businesses.

Due to the success of the first program, USAID/EDC asked us to do section II of the training. Yesterday, November 7, we started another skills building program here at our Center for Career Discovery in Monrovia.
We are excited to be networking with a major funder like USAID. We are now on the trajectory to partner with USAID/EDC on bigger longer term projects.
