SDOFW is enhancing women and girls capacity through sport. A sound mind and healthy body go hand in hand to develop full potential and confidence for young girl's students. We support girls players and teams in different girls' high schools. This gives them the opportunity to develop skills and takes them out of their rural environment. Trust and sportsman championship is a great tool for success and inspired to dream big.
Young Afghan girls players' teams from 10- girls' high schools do not have the possibility of being part of organized sports. The lack of sports facilities and programming prevents them from developing physical strength and coordination, leadership as well as team work and gender collaboration.
Coaching and entering of Girls Students in girls players teams of different ages in different schools will enable these girls students to improve their sports skills and confidence. There are 62 girls students per week for 16 weeks entered into the player teams. They practice twice a week for 2 hours in different schools plays grounds. We are especially proud of them. This is a week away from a rural high school girls the opportunity to show the world.
Different girls by introducing the idea of competitive sports in high school, we are able to build confidence and leadership abilities. Girls Team players of role models and their classmates, high school students in Nangarhar encourage girls to 800 girls.
