Our organization would help children who live in the Ganges river delta in India. Every year this region is haunted by the flood. That is why it is cut off from humanitarian aid. Our goal is to reach the islands on the Ganges river and to found 10 000 free hot meals for children.
Bengal is the most populated state in India and one of the most poor region as well. Because of floods and distant large cities it is very difficult to reach there. Those difficulties make the humanitarian aid is not suffice. The most threatened group, by starvation in Bengal are children. Volunteer Center in Darowo would send a group of volunteers on this December to Bengal. Those volunteers will have enough means to get there and for three months, prepare hot meals for most needed children.
Our volunteers provides nutrition, medicine, and health care to starving children in Bengal. In this mission will attend a doctor, a nurse and a cook, who will teach the inhabitants how to take care of health and cook meals from available products.
This project is going to make inhabitants will feel need fight for better future. Our next step will be constructing a well, to prove that it is worth to operate for common good.
