Dear friends,

Thank you 110 times! So much times as the number of orphan kids whom your've helped to find families.

It's like two orphanages were closed thanks to the assistance of all who supported our project  "Help Russian orphans find a family"

We're glad to share with your the story of Svetlana, single mother of 5 children.

She saw the videoprofile of Kostya in database of our foundation. So soon the boy has become her son. Almost 3 years past since then. Now he's 5 years old and the adaptation period has finished.

His life is completely changed. Kostya receives so much care as he couldn't receive in any orphanage, even very best.

He has mother and four brothers and sisters, and he's learning how live in loving family.

Family gives much opportunities. Boy is attending freestyle wrestling, figure skating training, musical school. It would help to discover and develop his talents and abilities.

Today on #GivingTuesday there's a greate chance to change the lives of many others orphan kids who still live in orphanages.

Support us on #GivingTuesday campain on November 28th, 2017, and your donation would be matched.

GlobalGiving’s 2017 #GivingTuesday campaign will begin November 28th, 2017, at 00:00:01 EST (8:00 AM MSK)  and end at 23:59:59 EST on November 28th, 2017 (7:59 AM MSK November 29th).

Also there will be a 100% match on all recurring donations started on #GivingTuesday up to $200.

Dear friends,

We'd like to share with you the video profiles of those children who received the video profiles recently.

The videos were made thanks for the donation to our project here, on GlobalGiving.

Varvara T., born in 2011

Denis P., born in 2008

Anatoly E., born in 2004

Jury K., born in 2015

Natalia M., born in 2014

Ekaterina S., born in 2013

Alena P., born in 2014

Alexander Sh., born in 2017

Anastasia and her brothers Ivan and Leonid, born in 2001, 2003 and 2009.

Brothers Alexei and Alexander, born in 2004 and 2006

Now these kids have received the chance to be seen by their future parents on our website, in social media and also these video are published in governmental database.

We hope that they would become someone's daugters and sons soon,  just like Ruslan and Diana. Rusland and his sister have appeared in our video database just this September. And in November they've found new family already.

Thank you for bringing together kids and their future parents!

We have a new story from the family of Russian football trainer Sergey Semak and his wife Anna. They told us about the video profile of Tanya, how this film helped the girl to become their daugter.

"I've understood that I can help child with disability to believe in himself- said Anna/ - Soon I've seen the video profile of Tanya on changeonelife.ru. This video has stuck in my head. I saw clearly Tanya with us dinning, watching family films. Women often like to make a pictures of happy future in their mind."

Tanya seemed to Anna as a very gentle and touching girl.

"It's possible to say anything on the video. But I was struck by the words of Tanya's school teacher. She new Tanya and her words were so sincere, that I've belived her for 100%. Thanks to these words I've made a decision".

Thank you for the support our project, helping parents to make a life changing decisions!

Alexander, Veronika and their sons
Alexander, Veronika and their sons

"You can take the teenager to the family if you feel you love him. It's impossible to fool him. He knows how you feel about him"

These are the words of Veronika, foster parent.

Veronika and Alexander have two kids. The younger - there own born son. And the elder boy has become their son after they've seen his video profile on our website.

While Veronika was looking for a kid to take to their family she thought that the worst decision would be to have another boy and elder than their own born one.

So that was the son they;ve finally found.

Veronika remembers the first time she met her son in all the details:

"Just when he came in I saw his clever eyes and kind, calm look. And it striked me - It's my boy, ours. And though just a year passed since his video profile was shoot, he changed a lot. On video I saw 14years old plumb bear. But in the room I've seen strong guy, highter than my husband"

Veronika and Alexander at once decided to take boy in a "guest family". It was a very good chance to see how the family and kid can live together. Do they have similiar values, does the kid want to follow the rules of this family, do the parents have enough resources to take this kid.

So in 6 months this boy have become the real part of the family.

"Now our son is 16 (he lives for a year with us) - tells Veronika. He chose phisics and mathematics in school, and plan to study in the university.

Adopted child has two languages of attachment - touch and care - thinks foster mother. - My elder son is the best helper on the kitchen. If he's the best in helping. We're lucky, it's in his character."

So every night Veronika kisses and hugs the both of her sons. Her adopted son likes this, but own born son doesn't like it so much, he prefers to hear encouraging words.

Thank you for supporting our project "Help Russian orphans find a family".

You help this stories become real, and bring together parents and children!

5 years of changing lives of orphan children

Dear friends!

It's five years since Charitable Foundation "Change one life" has begun assisting children from Russian orphanages find their way to new families.

Our results are our common merit.

We're so happy to share with you the most important achievements:

  • We have created videoprofiles for 29 538 chilren living in orphanages. More than 300 from them were created thanks for your support on GlobalGiving.
  • 10 625 kids from our project are in families now. We've became the part of many happy stories which have begun with videoprofile. Such was the story of Kuznetsovy family. They have found four of their children: Anton, Lena, Nadya and Veronika  - in our database of videoprofiles. So now these girls and boy have real mum and dad, have those who love them and care.
  • 765  Angel-keepers constantly share the videoprofiles helping children and parents find each other.
  • More than 10 200 adopters and foster parents obtained the consultations from psichologists, lawyers, doctors.
  • There are about 3700 people whom our website helps each day with  adoption information.
  • About 420 foster parents shared their experience on our website in blogs, articles, video.
  •  We're thankful for 5600 individuals and 41 company supporting us with donations. And you are among of them!
  • More than 300 free air tickets to distant regions were provided for families, who brought back home 100 children from orphanages.

There are a special page and our report (they are in Russian) we wish to share with you.

Diana, Sasha and Misha are in family now
Diana, Sasha and Misha are in family now

Dear friends,

Since the beginning of our project on Global Giving your support gave us power to make video profiles for 314 kids living in Russian orphanages. For us it’s always a big victory to know that one more kid have left the orphanage and now has a real home.

Thanks to your donations  93 kids are in families now. Almost every third kid from our project has found parents.

We wish to show you the most recent video  of orphan kids from all over Russia, from our project:

Arthur, born in 2012; Nikita, born in 2016; Antonina, born in 2002; Alexander, born in 2002; Leonid, born in 2015;

Ksenia, born in 2013; Dmitry, born in 2003; Ruslan, born in 2013; Andrey, born in 2015; Ivan, born in 2009.

And there were two more video profiles of girls were shot, and as it sometimes happenes – they found parents within 1 month since publishing video: Kristina, born in 2014,   and Valentina, born in 2013.

We’re so happy for them and their parents, and we hope that lives of other children from our project would be changed too.

Now in the  database of Change one life Foundation there are 28 000 video profiles of children from 78 regions of Russia, and more than 10 000 of them are in families now.

We know that sometimes there are some difficulties which divide children and their future parents. As Russia is a big country but not all of the families can afford quite expensive avia tickets, we provide them with the possibility to fly for the kid for free.

Tatiana and Alexander Lvovy have made not the very simple desicion - to adopt 3 kids: sisters Diana (10 y.o.) and Sasha (4 y.o.), and their brother Misha (5 y.o.). Our program "Fly for the kid" helped parents to fly to the distant region and take these children home. As Tatiana and Alexander say, these kids have missed their childhood. It's hard for therm to notice the beauty in things, to laugh and feel the happiness in everyday life. But warmth of family changes them, and they can return themselves the joy of childhood.

Thank you for supporting us!

Together we would change more orphan kids lives for better!
