Progress Report on “Help our Disadvantaged Youths Project”
the Cambodian Children’s House of Peace
December – February 2015
As our children are becoming young adults now and that they have to think about their future plans either to pursue higher education at universities or enroll at vocational training center. To help our young people set their future goal we brought them to the local Youth Employment Services (YES) Center where they give young people careers advice and soft skills’ training. They were very happy with the services provided by the YES Center, especially career guidance and orientation which will help them to make a clear decision for their future. The center has promised to offer any help when needed.
More Blood Donors Needed for Cambodian Children
Our youths went to Angkor Hospital for Children on Valentine's Day – February 14, to donate blood to show our love and care for sick children. Often, the families can't afford to pay, so they rely on people like us to donate – not many do. May all livings be happy and healthy. May what we strongly determine for be immortal. The staff are very friendly, very clean environment, no pain, and easy process. The youths received a free t-shirt which our youth can wear it everywhere they go to help spread the word for this good cause. We were very rewarding!
