I would like to wish my friends and donors a Happy and prosperous 2013. I must say 2012 was a good year for me as an individual because I got a study scholarship (SIDA) and financial support to provide some of the requirements that the scholarship was not providing for from my friend Charles, and it was a fantastic one for Ngoma Aid Foundation too. I am grateful to all who made the year a success.
I have not recieved anyonline funding and support for this project but to me, the project is still very relevant to our needs as an organisation and to me as an individual. The courses I attend give me the opportunity to network on behalf of the organisation and exposure on a wide range of aspects. It is thus, the reason why I call upon you for support.
I did miss a two weeks (Feb 2013) training in Arusha worth 1000 USD even after it had been subsidized to 300 USD. I could not afford the 300USD as an individual and later on as an organisation. The particular module I missed is a core that I need to attain Post Graduate Diploma in International Trade Law and Trade Policy (Intermediate). My dream is that, may be one day, one time, the training I get will land me on a big paying job. That would certainly mean more revenue to the organisation because I do donate my earnings to Ngoma Aid Foundation projects when I am gainfully employed else where.
I have recently earned myself a slot as a part time lecturer in the Department of Forestry, Biodiversity and Tourism of Makerere University. It is because of these small certificates that I manage to accumulate with your help that make me competitive in some situations. I thus thank you for the direct and indirect support and kindly appeal that you help support this project and support me achieve my desired goals. By so doing, you will be supporting a wide range of beneficiaries - both directly and indirectly.
I have applied for another short term scholarship due in April 2013 and I hope you do offer your support so that am able to attend.
Happy 2013
