Summary

The world is led by equality principle that is people are equal in the society (education, professional training, instruction, etc) but we find that people living with handicap in particular the deaf are victims of injustice in the society ( DRC) in the way that most of them do not feel useful in the society. To break the barrier of the communication between the deaf persons and the hearing persons; the deaf persons must go to the school to learn ,to read and to write.

Challenge

The problem is that most deaf parents are poor and cannot bear their reopening of school.Their families like paying school fees for children living with no handicap and neglecting those with handicap.Neverthesswe want to break that barrier because a deaf person has also the right to education. And when this latter goes to school , he will be ablenot only to be integrated but also to be useful to the society. Our wish is to decrease the rate of deaf illiteracy

Solution

This project of which goal is to help poor deaf pupils go to school is a solution to illiteracy problem because deaf in Democratic of congo never go to school. When a deaf has studied it is much more easy to integrated him in the society and open him opportunities to success. We are going to pay ( sustain) their school fees, we are going to provide them with school kits and be close them the whole school year ( 2016-2017)

Long-Term Impact

This project has a long term impact because in our NGO we offer the training of handicraft. The deaf pupils that we help paying the school fees are those who integrate our centers in order to learn a craft.A deaf child who has studied becomes an active actor in society and is capable of suggesting solutions to problems encountered. We want there foreto give school kits to 300 deaf pupils but we can only pay school fees for 50. In reality the impact is going to attain the whole community
