Percy Davies Special school hosts children with autism disorder and other developmental disabilities. The main challenge of the school is lack of running water which is very essential to children with special needs due to the hygiene demands of their condition. We seek your donations to help us sink the school a modern water borehole which will serve all their needs and make a difference in the life of a child with special needs.100 children with special needs will benefit.
Percy Davies Special School is located in a remote village in Muranga County in Kenya. The school and the community around it do not have access to clean and efficient water, the 100 children currently admitted in the school are children with autism and other disabilities and disorders. Not having access to a basic need like water is both devastating and horrible to see them go through putting into consideration their very many needs since all of them are in diapers.Need of water is urgent.
Sinking a borehole will bring the much needed water to the children in the school and the community neighboring the school. This borehole will solve the water problem the school has faced for years and bring an end to the communicable diseases attacking the children due to lack of clean and efficient running water. With the borehole the school will be able to put up a green house for the nutritional needs of the children. We kindly ask for your assistance in this.
After the borehole has been sunk the community around the Percy Davies special school will form a stronger partnership which favors both parties. The school will supply the community with water and the community will supply the school with food stuffs to enable the development of the children with special needs in the school who are in dire need of a good diet. Our project will give 1000 people access to clean water this includes the children in the school and community member
