Lupus is an expensive, disabling and abandoned pathology by the Nicaraguan health system. This project would provide a work to the patient according to his pathology which will allow him to bring economic resources to his home, mental health and to feel socially accepted.
The Lupus Foundation strives to safeguard and improve the quality of life of its members. This involves many efforts to abandon the Health System in Nicaragua, which is aggravated by the lack of knowledge of the medical profession, insufficient government contribution, and the lack of integration of private enterprise as well as the increase of the population that suffers from it results in an exorbitant mortality rate (15.09%) and demand for economic resources to support it.
FLESNIC would have a secondary source that will contribute to self-sustainability, which will allow generating resources that impact on the patient's medical follow-up and the work that is provided will allow them to combat poverty, depression and loneliness thus transforming their lives.
"."Of Colors We Paint Life" will strengthen the socioeconomic environment of 647 patients, with the Serigrafia workshop will provide a job according to its pathology, being therapeutic and obtaining a source of income that will contribute to the family economy and combat the contempt, which will enable it to integrate into society by offering its products, and will positively impact on personal growth by feeling useful and enterprising.
