During these uncertain and challenging times, we at PAMA wanted to support Palestinia health agencies by providing much needed personal protective equipment. We committed to supporting Palestine throughout this crisis and we know that you are too. We have seen how, together, PAMA and it's supporters can save lives and we know we can count on you to meet this challenge with us. We share your worries for the citizens of Palestine and pray for the health and safety of every one during this crisis.
During these uncertain and challenging times, we at PAMA wanted to update you on the situation in Palestine. Currently, there is an increased number of confirmed cases of COVID-19 in the West Bank and Gaza. We are communicating regularly with the Palestinian Ministry of Health to ensure we have the most up to date information regarding the spread of COVID-19 in Palestine. This is phase-2 of our campaign, in phase 1- we were able to distribute more than $55,000 worth of protective supplies.
Gaza is one of the most densely populated areas in the world. Due to the population density and lack of adequate health care in the region, an outbreak in Gaza would be catastrophic. We need to take needed measures to make sure that the virus doesn't spread further. We are committed to supporting Palestine by providing PPE supplies. We have done this once before in phase one, but the need is great and more supplies are needed. We know we can count on you to keep Palestinians safe and protected
We are in touch with Palestinian physicians who are on the frontlines dealing with COVD 19. As the crisis worsen, they will be in dire need for additional personal protective equipment, masks, gowns, and antiseptics. They will also be in need of ventilators and antiviral medications. Your donations will be used to purchase these needed supplies. We pray for the health and safety of every one during this crisis. We share your worries for the citizens of Palestine, and the whole world.
