This project seeks to transform the lives of poor and vulnerable children in Kemera by giving them a conducive learning environment. Uzima Aid believes that every child should be given relevant learning environment. We also believe that every child in uniquely gifted and a good learning environment brings out the best in every child. The facilities at Agape ECD School are run down. The classes are uninhabitable, the toilets unhygienic and water polluted. Uzima Aid is seeking to change this.
Poor and vulnerable children in Kemera lack facilities for lacking therefore lagging behind in matters education and the only way to uplift and boost them is through education. Uzima Aid believes that this project will give the many children facing hopelessness in Kemera a lifeline and sustainable platform for learning.
It will solve the problem by equipping the poor and vulnerable children through education. Education remains a tool of empowerment and affirmation. It will also encourage innovation and entrepreneurship and this will firmly put these children at the centre of the economic drive in Kenya.
Eradication of poverty and ignorance is one long term goal that we foresee this project help to achieve in Kemera. This centre of excellence will take in poor children and turn them into innovators and responsible leaders.
