Lunch Program at a Crossroads

By Alex Stone | Volunteer

Hello, supporters!

It an exciting time of year for the children we serve, as a new school year has just begun. Thanks to your support, we were able to offer lunch to the students last week. However. unless we receive additional funds, we will have to discontinue the lunch program at the end of next week.

Our founder, Khaled Jaraysa, recently reflected on the benefits of the lunch program, as well as the program's potential cessation. "Proper nutrition enhances the success of our educational and counseling programs. As teachers and staff regularly comment on positive changes they have noticed since we started this program, I really hope we do not have to discontinue the provision of lunches and nutritional support."

We are most hopeful that we will be able to continue providing this vital nutritional element, but we can't do it without your help. Please consider a gift of $100, sponsoring meals for two children for a month.

Thank you so much for your support!

With gratitude,

The Children of Peace Foundation
