This project will provide free education to 1,000 children of very poor smallholder farmers in Panda, Karu Local Government, Nasarawa State, Nigeria. The project will also support educational material like shoes, school bags and books
VOWDA has identified some underprivileged children of farmers in Panda, Nasarawa State, Nigeria, who had no hope of going to school and those that manage to go to school are struggling because there is no suitable building for classrooms. The buildings available in the village were built over 100 years ago. Parents are unable to provide notebooks, uniforms, clothes, shoes, pens, pencils, private convent school fees, tuition fee Etc. Their parents are Agricultural labors, with low wages.
This project will educate children for their bright future thereby reducing poverty in the society. Our objective is to improve access & quality of education for 1000 children through enrollment of deprived children in schools & maintain regular attendance, sponsor school fees, uniforms, shoes, school supplies & educational material. VOWDA mainly concentrates on female farmer's children and their enrollment in schools. This project will provide bright future to all the deprived children
VOWDA will provide an excellent education and opportunities to 1000 underprivileged children as well create an enabling environment as class rooms as part of their educational support and for holistic growth and development. Especially the Children of female farmers will be protected from Child marriages, trafficking, domestic servant maids. This project creates a chance to empower female farmers for development.
