Donors and Supporters,
Our first quarter follow up after September 2011 donation was on 24 February, 2012. During this exercise were able to report that the progress made by the children is good and we are satisfied to pay schools fees for eight children ( 8 Children x 12 000FCFA = 96 000FCFA equivalent of US$196 ) who were out of school for school fees for the past one week. 60% of the 85 children are still to pay fees. As a result of the above challenges, Our project team and the village chiefs ( Tole, Bonduma and Bokoko Villages) meet and concluded on getting childhood development classes for children; to help them learn and comprehend lessonsfaster. Two classes are schedule to commence in April 2012- Early childhood Education classes for children 2- 4 years and After school classes for children age 4 - 12 Years. The classes will run from Monday to Friday each day from 9AM to 11AM for children age 2 - 4 years and 4:00 PM to 6:00PM for children age 4 - 12 years The classes for age 4-12 will focus on English, Mathematics and Extra curricular activities (sport, art education, music, dance etc). While those of age 2-4 years will focus on early childhood education development activities. The bonduma village chief and Councillors has offered the community hall for the classes to cover Bokoko and Bonduma villages children classes. Tole classes will be conducted in the usual Presbyterian primary school
