The Needy African Children (NAC) is helping to buy vital life saving equipment for Kamuli Health Care Emergency (KHCE). The latter is a health centre which not only serves the children under the NAC but also the entire north Busoga region with a population of close to 2m people. We are aiming at buying a resuscitator, an Oxygen concetrator. a chemistry analyzer and an anaesthetic machine all valued at $50,000. Your help will be very crucial in saving the lives of the people of Kamuli.
Kamuli Health Care Emergency is one of the major providers of health services to the people of north Busoga region. It also serves the children under the Needy African children. It is however ill equipped in terms of vital life saving equipment. Our children and the entire population in the north Busoga region are therefore at risk. It lacks a resuscitator, an oygen concentrator, a Chemistry Analyser and an Anaesthetic machine.
This project will equip the health centre with the necessary life saving equipment.
Frequent referrals to Jinja (64 km away ) of patients who would otherwise have been easily treated at the centre will be a thing of the past. High Mortality rates will be a thing of the past. The life expectancy of the people of Kamuli and neighbourhood will be increased.
