Help AmeriCorps Change the Landscape of Nashville

Our AmeriCorps service members continue to work diligently toward creating a better and stronger Nashville. Our service members work on-site as well as in the field with our families through various programming. Any time there is a natural disaster or a crisis, they are the ones to step up and help us answer the call. Many of our clients initially came to us in a moment of crisis or emergent situation. Often times, our AmeriCorps service members are the the first point of contact for our families. We could not do the work we do without their help and leadership.

Our AmeriCorps participants are still working tirelessly across Nashville to change the landscape. In some instances, that's being the boots on the ground, disaster response. In others, it's working quietly and diligently behind the scenes to help our families have a more stable base. Through our (Martha O'Bryan Center) Family Success Network, our AmeriCorps group works in hands-on programming to help families map a plan for their futures.

The Family Success Network has different components for each family, and can include a combination of these Martha O’Bryan Center services: early learning interventions and child care, parent education, high school equivalency prep, college/career coaching, health and wellness supports, family and couples counseling, and financial coaching. We have AmeriCorps placements throughout these areas.

The landscape of a city doesn't change overnight. It changes over a long period of time, with thoughtful and strategic planning and consistent work. That change happens through our staff, our AmeriCorps participants, and generous donors like you.
