Projeto Vida Corrida promotes social inclusion through sport, bringing around 300 children of Capao Redondo to same space. Tiago Cunha is a kid with special needs and can't afford buying a new wheelchair that would allow him to participate in the project activities with other children.
Tiago Cunha's family lives in the community of Capao Redondo and can't afford buying him a new wheelchair. Tiago has been attending to project activities over the last three years and he has consistently improved his mobility. He is 12 years old and the current wheelchair is no longer suitable for him to practice sport.
A new adaptable wheelchair would allow Tiago Cunha to continue improving his mobility and physical development.
Tiago's dream is to be able to play basketball with other people with physical desabilities. In the long term, he plans to participate in the Paralympic Games.
