Focus Nepal is non governmental organization is searching funds for rural girls and boys for higher education.In Nepal cost for higher studies have become costly.There is no free education at college level. Even the cost of pubic colleges for medical and technical has become costly. The youth cannot afford so they are forced to go to abroad to seek jobs. We need funds for 32 students from rural areas, if they don't get support they will be compelled to discontinue their studies.
Students from marginalized communities cannot proceed to higher education because of poor economic condition and women are most underprivileged and are perceived that they should not be educated. It is stigma.Because of natural calamities and man and women being compelled to go abroad and family violence, taking another wife the children are displaced and are made orphans, students from such background are unable to study further after schooling.Such students will be benefited from this project
Focus Nepal does annual plan(strategic plan). We have a management system having good public government relations guided by rules, policy and guidelines.A notice is given annually.We do preparing budgets for planned number of students.Then after we search funding sources.We request for letters of commitment to donors.The applications from students are assessed .The applicants are interviewed and selected by governing board.
We will have personnel in various fields, medical and health services, engineering, management, social services, education and lawyers. 32 graduates who will be ready for services. We long to see the graduates in policy making levels and leadership positions.The qualified manpower will contribute toward development of the country in the long run.The women are empowered. In presence of our graduates on the job or services will definitely affect the holistic works of the country.
