The non-profit sector accounted for $1.74 Trillion in total revenue in 2013, of that, 90% was owned by the top 2.39%. Immediately the problem can be seen, the rest of the countries charities struggle to keep their doors open. Hearts of Empowerment aims to help close this gap by creating strategic events that produce substantially more revenue than what it took to create, and transfer the proceeds to the struggling organization at ZERO cost to them. More money to plan, means more money to give!
In 2013, public charities accounted for just about $1.74 Trillion in revenue, but 90% of this was owned by the top 2.39%. In a report published in January of 2018, the Financial Health of the Non-Profit Sector reported that over 50% of non-profit organizations have less than one months cash reserves, and some 30% have reported a loss of money in three straight years. A financially inept charity cannot function properly, and therefore cannot help the community as it should.
This project will allow our operational budget to begin at a surplus. When at a surplus, that means that we do not have to cover expenses from the proceeds of an event, only to give what is left over to the charity we are working to benefit. Instead, we can throw the largest event possible and thus donate the most to the charity at hand.
This project will allow us to throw better events, and therefore raise more money for the charities we are aiming to help. More money for the charity, means more money for their cause. The subsequent result is a greater impact within the community.
