Support this program which aims to provide free mobile healthcare and Ambulance/clinics services to cover 700 villages situated on 781 km2 of land with an estimated population of 200,000 people in the underserved crisis raved Sanga LGA, Kaduna State, Nigeria, and extending health care services to an average of 200 patient/outreach program. Ohaha health care program is the most relied upon medic-care option reaching over 3,000 cut-out, poor, marginalized people since 2013.
The Healthcare System in Sanga LGA (which has 17 districts 700 villages) is extremely inadequate, despite sharing boundaries with 2 states, a major transit route; the closest hospital is an hour's drive. Thousands of poor marginalized families in Sanga have no access to healthcare which results in high death rates, high infant and maternal mortality ratio, while Children often die for lack of immunization or medicines for common childhood diseases.
Ohaha Family Foundation will provide through our mobile clinic offer 24 hour emergency service, offer minor surgeries, midwifery services to homebound expectant mothers, pharmacy, laboratory services, routine immunizations and health check-ups, leveraging on our hospital in Ancha as a medical hub for more critical health challenges where medical specialist are on ground to deliver medical care, immunizations and health education for neighboring to villages.
Our goal is to bring quality health care services to 200,000 people in Sanga LGA, who do not have other medical options as we also expand the provision of inpatient capacity through the construction of the 500 bed hi-tech hospital, recreational and training facility in Ancha, to enable us treat even more complicated medical cases from around Nigeria with a goal to ensure that another 10 million people in Nigeria access to quality healthcare by the year 2024.
