To be a child is to embrace the unknown, to see the world with eyes full of curiosity, innocence, and kindness, to enjoy the small things in life, to get lost in an afternoon of games and laughter, to believe in the infinite magic of Christmas. We firmly believe that every child deserves to experience a Christmas that fills their hearts with magic and joy. Although we understand that a hospital is not the ideal setting for festivities, it fills us with satisfaction to be able to provide moments of recreation, excitement, and joy to our young patients this Christmas.
Being able to see the enthusiastic and joyful gaze of the children as they open their gifts, feel their excitement and pride as they engage in fun activities with their fellow roommates, hear their gratitude-filled comments as they realize how fortunate they are to receive gifts, toys, and the company of entertainers and volunteers, and to be able to momentarily forget the routine of treatment to allow them to have fun like children is a joy made possible through your donations.
With your invaluable support, we were able to carry out more than 30 recreational activities in December 2023, distributing over 600 gifts including toys and snacks, bringing joy to the hearts of our little ones at the Children's Hospital. We deeply appreciate all our benefactors who, with their support, made it possible to provide a Christmas filled with care, companionship, affection, fun, and gifts to our brave children. These magical moments, infused with gratitude and hope, will be etched in their memories and will become seeds of kindness.
What does my gaze tell you? If my eyes could speak, they would say, "Thank you."
