Having the largest children's hospital in the department is an immense responsibility. Here, we care for thousands of children who represent the hope and future of the families in our community. Caring for a child is much more than just medical attention; it’s about understanding their innocence, accompanying their pain, and providing support to their parents. It’s about creating an environment where they can play, have fun, and feel loved. It’s the dedication of our doctors and nurses, who heal with care, and the effort of an entire team working to care for and save the lives of our little patients.
Every action in our hospital has a clear purpose, guided by a social mission that drives us to serve all sectors of society, especially the most vulnerable. We strive to offer cutting-edge services, and thanks to our allies and benefactors like you, we have made significant progress.
One of these advances is the acquisition of state-of-the-art medical equipment, such as the Billisheck, an innovative device that allows us to measure bilirubin in newborns without the need for injections. We have also acquired a Vital Signs Monitor, an essential piece of equipment that will be installed in our Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (ICU). This monitor will allow us to continuously monitor the vital signs of the children, such as heart rate, blood pressure, and respiration, ensuring that they always receive the most precise and effective care.
However, our work is not limited to just medical technology. We also focus on addressing the emotional needs of the children by providing recreational and therapeutic activities that allow them to face their treatments with hope and joy. Additionally, we provide comprehensive support to caregivers in vulnerable situations by offering transportation, food, and professional assistance, ensuring they too receive the necessary support to care for their loved ones.
Your support makes it possible for us to provide comprehensive, high-quality care filled with empathy to the children and their families every day. Thank you for being a fundamental part of this mission!
