We are fundraising to provide our beneficiaries in Uganda with access to vocational education programs spanning from creative arts, technology, and life skills for the next year. Your donations will fund the materials, utilities, and staff salaries for our Ugandan teachers to enable our program to reach at least 100 youth in 2025 and even more in future years to come.
Uganda has the youngest population in the world, but the highest rate of unemployment. School fees are too high for most families to afford, and many children, especially girls, are forced to work in their parents subsistence farms while growing up. Therefore, Uganda's youth doesn't have access to the education they deserve.
This project will solve the problem by providing youth with affordable vocational education that prepares them with creative and technological skills to join the workforce and contribute to society. We also provide life skills in things like reproductive health, menstrual health, and human rights to ensure that our graduates are able to contribute to a global standard of long-term impact.
We are empowering the youth of post-war areas of Northern Uganda to bring their own communities out of poverty by educating them in useful skills. This vision thrives alongside our self-sustaining model which helps entrepreneurs to start and grow businesses in Northern Uganda. This means that in a few years, the whole organisation will not rely at all on external funding to reach over 3,000 beneficiaries with our various programs in education and entrepreneurship.
