When a family has been told that there's no cure for their loved one's illness, Havens Hospices can help, controlling pain and medication, supporting families, offering short breaks and caring for adults, babies, children and teenagers at the end of their lives. Our specialist care is free - for as long as it is needed - within the home and at our three hospices, Fair Havens, The J's and Little Havens.
We couldn't provide our care without the people who support us. Havens Hospices and The J's are registered, independent charities and rely heavily on the generosity of its supporters through kind donations. We must raise over 10,000 every week to continue caring at Fair Havens Hospice, Little Havens Hospice and The J's.
Every gift, no matter how large or small, means so much to the adults, children and families who rely on our love and care every day.
Havens Hospices and The J's Hospice receive limited government funding but general donations make up a substantial part of our income. Put simply, without the generosity of people like you who donate to the charity in their Will, we could not continue caring. Our vision is 'Making every day count' for every adult and child in the local community, living with a life-limiting illness and that's how a donation, no matter what its size, can make a life-changing difference.
