The Halli Club is for children between 8-10 years old. The clubs consist about 600 children which are being split between Smartie Town and Nomzamo. We teach them leadership skills and basic life skills. The Halli leaders is for the 11 years old, who attended each Halli Club gathering and showed leadership skills. We want to focus on leadership, career advice, spiritual growth and work ethic. Our budget for the year is R200 000. That is for; offices use, transport, T-shirts, year end party.
We have started the Halli Club to start youth leaders in the community. In the communities we are working there is a huge lack of young leadership. Most effected pupils to this manner is the new generation. They have no one to look up to also their parents is either on drugs or drinking. This why we started this Halli Club to ensure that at least more then 50% if these children has the right mindset for life and also teach them life skills and how to be someone in life.
Our main focus is to ensure that these children have a better future. Sometimes you can't change everyone, but only those who want to change and want to become someone in life. Solving a problem in the communities is a challenge, so what we are doing is age 8-10 is welcome to join the club. But if from the 10 years old we create Halli leaders. Where they can also learn how take leadership in life.
We want to use both these Clubs as a platform to teach children basic life skills and leadership skills. In the Halli Leaders Club we aim to develop young leaders and aim to give them guidance to adulthood and the responsibilities of life. We want to focus on leadership, career advice, spiritual growth and work ethic.
